Okay, that wouldn't be so terribly bad. I guess you could rationalize it by the robot not understanding the implications.

Even Don't Breathe had the decency to understand that what the kidnapper was doing was disgusting.
The Collector has the same plot, but in London instead of outer space. Nope.
If they both woke up because of a ship malfunction, I'd watch this movie. As is, nope.
No, because Stalker was actually an excellent movie.
Maybe he should have figured out how to put himself in the hibernation pod, gone back to sleep, and woken up along with everybody else. Instead of deciding somebody else's life for them.
I swear I read it that way too.
Or genuinely disgustingly skeevy, like Jon Hamm was in Black Mirror.
That is an excellent question. Why not go with what was shown in the trailer, which made it seem like their pods both malfunctioned at once?
>True, he offers to put Aurora back into hibernation once he figures out how
I love this episode for so many reasons.
First I've got to say, you write some really good meta. It's an art.
I'm going to assume, without consulting the timeline, that Ben brought Cooper to the Island after gathering intelligence on all the survivors and realizing that Cooper was someone that could be an asset to Ben in some way.
Yeah, it's more one of those convoluted theories that LOST inspired in me. It's simpler to just take things on face value, as you point out.
but do you think Jacob saved Locke knowing that he would almost immediately be drawn to the Man in Black?
As far as "letting the Island sink," I dunno… of course I don't want the fandom to "die." On the other hand, there's a lot of bitterness out there about the show, even now. Maybe a new generation of viewers needs to experience it fresh, without a lot of hype.
I approve of randomness… ;-)
Hey, I remember you! Nice to see you again.
I have some thoughts about Juliet, Sun, and the "date of conception."
are the survivors not justified in doing so if necessary?
