And maybe that would be credit worthy if it wasn’t all done as part of a massive PR machine solely to boost his own wealth.

I actually asked in her tweet if she could disclose how much she god paid for the previous two titles. 4K sounds like a really low figure, and other VAs have stated as much, but without knowing specifics on previous work, it’s hard to gauge any disparities.

*Goes out to buy a bag of nuts and a bear trap*

Release all three games on vinyl and let me play them on my Victrola, you lazy bastards.

I’m console only, so this is a valuable perspective to consider. Thanks.

I wish them well, and I mean that because I will not be buying this first experiment and will wait for the Deck 2, if it happens.

If you aren’t cancerous, you aren’t healthy!”

Well a lot of people are already own the prior versions of the game, the new release double dips with those players,, assuming they dont mess this up, and gets those lovers of the games to buy them again. It also makes it easier for new players to buy all 3 games and DLCs since that has been a bit of an issue.

I literally budget my paragon runs around that.

Just a reminder to anyone planning to play Legendary edition (or just replay non-Legendary, I guess) that you can, ah, “romance” Miranda in ME2 without breaking up your relationship with Liara if you romanced her in ME1. Miranda, apparently, is not looking for a long term relationship.

Brexit.

But he isn’t doing it “for free”. Every update he makes bring in new customers, which builds his audience, which will be there for him when he announces and releases his next game. This is all about that future. Because I have come to know and trust him and his work, I will definitely be buying that new game day one.

It’s the only game I’ve ever bought twice (on Xbox and Switch) and I didn’t even think twice about it.

So instead of giving players a code (Steam/Xbox/PSN), we were given a code that we have to enter on a Microids website (The game’s publisher). The website will then generate the respective code for the platform...Except not every code works. I purchased the Limited Edition for PS4, so I got two codes: One from Amazon

That’s why I got mine. My black ass could end up unemployed or dead whenever, so why not enjoy it?

“But you have enough money”

I don’t think it’s the community they’re worried about, it’s shareholders. Development time = spending money. Releasing game = making money. If they push that revenue into the next quarter or something, shareholders will be unhappy and stock prices might dip. This is a case of favoring investors over employees, which:

This doesn’t seem like that big of a deal compared to what we normally hear about though. They’re having people work Saturdays for a while, which is a pretty normal thing for businesses when its needed. It doesn’t sound like they’re telling people they have to be there for 16 hour+ days or work 80+ hour weeks.

Also if the screen turns blue you crash in those exact coordinates.

Ah thats a good point, I hadn’t thought of. They didn’t really cover that angle in the article, unless it was in the wall of tweets I scrolled through, which is why I commented the way I did.
