This may not be the best advice, but find a friend that has it, test it, then if it runs just buy it. If you don’t have a friend, go the pirate way, but if you like the game DO buy it!

I guess the best approach to this is to split the texture packs and let the user choose what to download. It you know you have a beefed up rig you may go for the best textures, but if you know you run games on an oldie, you can choose low res textures. GTA4 does some things better, or maybe I’m not used with the handling of 5 yet. The cars in 5 look better, but the handling is weird, and motorbikes especially feel like they’re toys. There’s no inertia feeling, as if they’re made of plastic, or paper.
