i binge read it in one night the first time, haha. it was SO good. also made it very hard for me to watch the movie again, tbh, because it is so lacking. some amazing visuals, but even those aren’t much compared to otomo’s manga panels. i’ve read it so many times now and it’s the most perfect visual feast.

Akira manga is soooooo much better than the anime. I don’t even.

I feel like the only people who would prefer the Akira film over the Akira manga have never read the manga, and are simply guessing.

You gotta be shitting me, 21 people think the 125 minute abridged movie version of Akira is considered better than Otomo’s original 2000 page magnum opus? What are those 21 people smoking?!?

What a joke! So basically the same as the Zik 2.0’s, but with a hideous stitch detail and wireless charging? Battery life and everything else is still the same! It looks the materials haven’t changed either, so I expect the ear cups to peel off after a few months, just like on the Zik 2.0’s!
