Then our luck is different. I've been playing it since day 1 on a base PS4 and only had a few hiccups.

I would average about 1 crash every 3 hours on my PS4 Pro. Only bug I ever really ran into while playing it on PS4 Pro.

My understanding is that, even at launch, it ran more or less fine on the PS4 Pro for a lot of people. Not everyone buying this game has a base model PS4

FFVIII *is* underrated. Upon revisiting it a couple years back, it’s actually pretty darn solid. Has its problems (which FF doesn’t? Arguably VI, but I digress...), but is overall quite enjoyable.

My friend got one last week and set it on its side, and we immediately put the disc in the wrong way. It just seems reasonable to put the disc in so the data side is facing toward the machine, like in any other console. 

I personally think the PS5 looks amazing.
And my parents, who I hadn’t seen in over a year.. (thanks Covid) came to my house a couple of weeks ago.
They thought it looked great too. 

Let’s face it, $22k is still too much. You can get a gas powered naked bike with similar HP for about $10k or so, so unless you bathe in money, $22k is a lot.
