I’m not sure what’s more pathetic, this Presidency, or the media coverage of it.

Nevermind. I’m dumb. Watched the video.
While it may not help with irreplaceable things like documents or photos or heirlooms, I’m wager the bank has some kind of disaster insurance on the vault and it’s contents.
“After seven generations of games, that number of evolutions has now expanded to nearly every single different Pokémon type.”
My wife watches their shows. They’re not insufferable to watch, sometimes they’re downright pleasant. I’d rather watch these brothers than most of the other House Buying / Selling / Full of Squirrel shows that I’ve seen.
Good.
I’m pretty sure I played this.
Center mass, I think is what you’re looking for, isn’t a difficult shot to make for most cops. Depending on the department, LEOs do go through rigorous firearms training. Particularly if the victim is standing or sitting still, which was likely the case here. This wasn’t an exchange of fire. He wasn’t in combat with…
She is absolutely, without a doubt, guilty of manslaughter.
I can’t speak for Dallas, nor would I attempt to, but it depends on where they patrol and work. There are many areas of our country, where LEO’s ARE targeted regularly. You’re easily identifiable: uniform, very recognizable vehicle.
Many departments require collegate degrees to join them. It’s extremely common, if not universal. There aren’t many High School (or GED) only applicants that would ever be taken seriously.
I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you’ve never taken another humans life with active decision making on your part.
Frankly, it doesn’t matter what his image is, at this point. She was completely in the wrong. She was in the wrong place, trying to get into the wrong apartment, and relied on her service weapon to resolve what should have been a silly, mundane mistake on her part.
At most it would be manslaughter. She wasn’t trying to invade his home, she was mistakenly trying to get into her own apartment (allegedly.) It’s also not “Murder” since there was no premeditation (that we know of, yet.)
That’s not accurate. If she was uniformed, and carrying her service weapon, it’s an LEO shooting situation. The determination isn’t dependent on the time-clock.
LEO Unions have it in their contract that LEO’s involved in shootings cannot be interviewed between 24 and 48 hours (depending on the Union and regulations.)
From the Reddit information, she may not have even made it into the unit before firing her weapon. He allegedly came to the door and opened it for her, since it was locked, and she shot him.
She didn’t have a key to the man’s apartment. Her key was in the door. She couldn’t get in. He opened the door from the inside.
