You just summarized my problem with hyper-focused prequels like this. There is absolutely no sense of ... consequences at all. The first two episodes were okay, but I never once felt hooked because we all know how this is going to end. Some little mini-series flash of plot isn’t going to change anything that happens…

I dont think it was in early builds of the game. It was added with content patches.
