What kind of nonsense...? That makes no sense. Moving a bike doesn’t require anyone to break a window, strip wires, or jam an ignition with a screw driver. The bike wasn’t even chained. All anyone needed to do was pick it up, and move it a foot so they could reach their “stuff,” which they have a right to do.

The show has a lot of sloppy writing, especially when it comes to justifying Kwan’s existence. I think some of the shakiness also comes from trying to set up too much plot in one episode. The show has good bones, but if the writing doesn’t improve, I can see things getting FUBAR real fast.

Jetboy fucked up.

I was surprised the theater I went to was checking. They’d had notices up about checking vax status for months, but when I went to see NWH it was the first time they actually were.

I hope not! The theater I saw NWH in checked everyone’s vaccination status, and people who didn’t have their “card” weren’t allowed inside. There were a dozen or so of them standing outside and they were very, very upset. Everyone who watched in my screening appeared to keep their masks on too.

The first 45 minutes were uneven, but after the band gets back together that’s when the the movie finds its legs. This is mostly due to the main cast having really good chemistry with each other. So much so, the movie could have focused solely on their interactions from the start and been a better film for it.

Trump voters think they’re under attack because no one is letting them get away with their bullshit. They want everyone to sit down and shut up and let them run roughshod over everyone and everything. That’s all their whining is: a bunch of children not getting their way and then crying about it.

Yeah, no, this reviewer is buggin’, because that episode was frigging awesome!

I’m glad somebody said it...

Season 12 is gonna hurt, but I’ll be watching anyway.

This is about Disney trying to be slick and doing an end-run around their contract with Johansson.

The first one is okay, but 1978 is surprisingly solid.

This.

If she believes he’s not guilty and still supports him, fine. She loves him like he’s family, and I never expect people to stop loving those they care about because the world tells them to. But if she knows he’s guilty (and he IS guilty), and doesn’t care about what he did, then fuck her.

Okay, he gets to walk away from his conviction. Fine. But we know the truth of him now, and he can’t walk far from that.

As someone who thinks Inception and Nolan’s Batman trilogy, besides The Dark Knight, were vastly overrated, I really enjoyed Tenet. It was trippy, but in a fun timey-wimey way. Watching in VR enhanced my experience with the movie, but I think it would have been ideal to watch Tenet in a theater.

I’m so happy for him!

Scumbags.

I don’t doubt Whedon has issues with dark-skinned black people in his work, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s an asshole about it, too, but Snyder isn’t much better when it comes to non-white performers in his movies. I think Snyder gets away with it because, from all accounts, he’s a pretty chill dude. Whereas

Well, it was just a matter of time before ICE went after black people.
