I wouldn’t hesitate a second if to keep Stevens you had to make him the highest paid coach in the NBA.

Uh, fixed”????
Yah pretending like Crowder wasn’t more of a throw in in that trade is being disingenuous. Turns out Stevens is a stud who knows how to get the best out of blue collar players.
I feel like Stevens HAS to be a serious candidate, if not the favorite, for coach of the year right? Kerr is an obvious choice as well but him missing time during the beginning of the season puts Stevens ahead of him in my book.
Can we talk about the fantastic job Brad Stevens has done with this team? He’s not getting nearly enough attention for the work he’s done in Boston...and maybe that’s how it should be but he’s really turned that team around when it looked like they would be a cellar dweller for quite some time.
The Celtics this year are a treat to watch. I have no idea why Danny Ainge insists on wanting to bring in Kevin Love. Maybe he just wants Kelly Olynik to dislocate his shoulder more often.
I would imagine this has more to do with avoiding being deposed in the civil suit in California than anything else.
Anna, you’re braver than me. I would have tossed myself over the side by day two. Fascinating piece, I really like it. I’m just sort of overwhelmed by sadness at some of these people who bought tickets on the cruise, and a sense of anger at those like Wakefield who prey on them, even if they truly believe what they’re…
The President can’t pardon someone charged with a state crime, Ted Cruz you fucking dink. Which, of course, he knows. It’s just easier to pander to an audience that DOESN’T know that.
“Does Ted Cruz know that the President does not have the power to issue pardons for state convictions?”

And you may be right. But you’re also choosing to believe her story 100%. A judge is likely going to require more evidence than that, especially when her story has been inconsistent. I’m an attorney and when your client testifies under oath to the exact opposite of what they’re now claiming, it’s usually really bad…
Also a memorable villain death fall!
depends on your definition of forgiveness. Mine, paraphrased from Malachy McCourt, is this: when someone does something awful to you, they’ve shoved two buckets full of shit in to your hands. You can’t hold on to anything better unless you drop those two buckets of shit. Forgiveness means letting go of the anger that…
I liked all the villain deaths in The Running Man. I especially liked all the punny jokes Arnold told after each one.
MOO2 has eaten more of my life than any other game.
I really think Master of Magic should be on the list, but I don’t really see anything that merits removal. So I guess this should be a top 25 list.
That’s a pretty damn good list. There are a couple I’d replace, because I’ve never played them, but otherwise its very solid. If I did replace some, it would be with more niche classics like Master of Orion (I or II) and/or Master of Magic.
