Yeah, the cast actually all threatened to quit a few years ago over a pay dispute, but they eventually just stayed and took the pay cut. The show hasn’t been getting very good ratings lately, and really mostly stays on air because of merchandise.

I don’t think it’s solely the money. The whole cast took a pay cut (maybe voluntarily?) a few years back.

It’s about getting your fair cut and not being exploited. Not about being a paid whore.
