And this is why I own a 997 and a 968, and I daily a 1994 Chevy S10 :-)
I don't think it's an S10, but an S10 blazer, that someone cut the roof off of and for some reason put a fiberglass one back on. Check out the tailgate area, with interior bits. SOOO many questions
This is one of those things that makes me want to follow people to their destination and give them a proper flogging. I've seen it for years and years, and used to be most common with v6 mustangs. "let me just put a cobra badge on the side, even tho i have 1 exhaust pipe and regular mustang badged bumpers"
Unless they do a complete redesign on the rear end, this thing will never not be FUGLY.
I hope NPR is read this and they are all collectively hanging their heads in shame, wondering just how they plan on getting pledges this year. I too hope that one day I can be paid to talk nonsense to America on the radio.
Keep thinking i'll trade the C4S in for a GT3, but maybe I need to save a few more pennies for the RS... so much want. Sharkwerks is probsbly out of the range.
i love this, though I would never do it to my 968, if I had some extra pocket change, would be a great addition to the fleet ;-)
I used to say the same thing about sport buttons until i got my 911 C4S. Sport mode is a completely different car, and I don't think I could live without it.
Here's hoping that i4 goes into the new 968!!! I have dreams too that will never make it to real life!
944S was my first Porsche, it cemented my love for the brand, and I still miss that car even though I have a 968 and a 997. Sometimes I still think I will pick up another 944 just do this exact same thing. Lord knows I have almost enough spare parts laying around to do so. great write-up, thanks for doing this!
boy, what a stupid asshole, everyone else had great informational posts about the reasons why, you on the hand said stupid shit that has little relevance. troll elsewhere moron
wouldn't take very little energy to move the object in the right direction, or is most of the energy used repositioning the debris?
so this is going to sound like something out of a superman movie, but why aren't we grabbing the debris and pushing it toward the sun to be burned up, rather than possibly trashing the planet. I understand most of it will burn up in descent, but some pieces seem to always make it through. would be too hard to keep…
There is a better hybrid supercar out there for the same money.
Funny, I read so much of Doug's stuff here, that I just assumed he was on staff. The fact that he wasn't already means you need to move faster bringing talent on board!!!
leaving out Karl Benz was a mistake, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxer_eng…
wait, you mean that's a failure of suspension, not people purposely doing that? I see that all the time hear, and just assumed people were terrible. Nice to know
haha, I think you re trying to make a comparison of 911 engineering to Kia engineering..thats cute :-) I'm also glad I dont have a 996, for many many reasons.
nope, I have beautifully engineered german cars, not plastic crap boxes. I'm sorry you have a Kia, have you ever worked on one? Let me know when you have 15 years of experience in a well crafted car then tell me what you think of Kia craftsmanship. I have the experience of all the people I know who have actually had…
