Reading this on my 3a. Bought my daughter a 3a this year. Bought my dad one last month. They’re the best thing going when they were new, and are ridiculously good on the used market.

Except that it doesn’t just explode when Google stop supporting it, amazingly it will continue to function

This is one of those relatively small things that still makes you think, “How did we end up with a society like this?” I love my Pixel 3a. It is the best phone I have ever had, it’s all I need or want, and it was a great price. It continues to work as well as it did when I bought it. But now the company who sold it to

I am just curious why would you go android if you use Apple computers?

You walk five miles a day? Can you grab my takeout on the way?

Look, I just want to be able to move the Clock back to the right side like the early days of Android. In those days, you need only glance at the left corner to see that it was clear and you had no notifications.

Im betting all my dogecoin on donkey-circling-a-capstan powered drones

Tip if receiving compliments makes you uncomfortable. Do finger guns and back away, that person will never compliment you again.

I always wonder why so often the advice for how to “put her in the mood” regarding a wife involves doing chores for her. You just acknowledged that both parties are tired from other responsibilities, so what’s the justification for this advice? It just feels manipulative and a bit like pandering.

Given who the 2 QB’s are, you can consider this an SEC game as well.

Unless you are inviting a bunch of heathens or moochers, you should be able to count on some beer or booze coming in thru the door with your guests.

Well, it sounds like Google is creating a situation where only Apple users will be annoyed but the lack of compatibility. That really shifts the pressure onto Apple completely.

this is frickin’ hilarious.  So now the shoe is on the other foot, so to speak.  I really hope now that as an Android user, I can ‘like’ a message from someone and all the iOS users get the ‘user liked “blah blah blah blah blah” message.  We’ve been dealing with this for a few years now.  Maybe Apple, and now their

I’m a Christian, and I don’t see atheists as hostile to religion. Always saw them as having simply decided there was no God. I shared an office with such a guy for years and we got along great.  I honestly prefer someone that can tell me why they don’t believe than someone who can’t tell me why they can.

Atheists aren’t hostile towards religion. They’ve made up their mind that there is no higher power. Most of them then stay quiet about it and let other people decide what they should believe because it’s a personal choice everyone should make for themselves. The few who go out and try to “convert” others give the rest

While I agree that angry atheists are annoying, true agnostics are not people who don’t believe in any god, they are people who don’t believe there is evidence either way and proclaim neither a belief nor a disbelief.

Oof. When the first point of how to throw an “adult” party is about how to make your food appealing for pictures on social media, I’m out. I’m not that old, but this is an immediate red flag that this isn’t actually for adults.

And that’s the major difference between the 2: with Android, you get to choose how to interact with your phone.

or make it simpler by naming the modes:
