Empty yellow cabs usually stick to the outside lanes and are easy to pass, but I do agree with you to some degree. When I'm empty, I tend not to drag my ass, as my style of "hacking" is on the aggressive side. I hardly, if ever see an Uber driver 'facilitate' with any purpose.... empty or "with fare".
