1st: Rented a fully loaded Focus last week — the Microsoft Sync was infuriating to use. The voice command doesn't recognize radio, FM, FM radio, CD player, or CD, but speaking aloud is the only way to switch between line-in and USB-in (because it defaults to line-in, regardless of whether you leave your iPod plugged

Good call. Didn't watch the whole video (couldn't, really).

Way to think outside the box!

School's out, which means these are likely all Summer school kids. That is, the dumbass delinquents who couldn't (or were too lazy to) hack a regular year of school.

Gracias, sir.

Hungarian women and German 80s and 90s rollers...don't know which I want more.

Hopefully it becomes a trend. Imagine post-apocalypse vehicles driving around as ubiquitous as lowriders in the 90s, ricers in the early 2000s, and donks as of recent.

Dig through the ditches,

Looks like an alien spacecraft from whence all life on Earth came!

Poor Scion? That looks awesome!

Maybe you're thinking of the Patriot, Liberty, or Cherokee — the Compass is front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available (like the Mitsubishi Outlander, which is also a sister vehicle). The "off-road package" adds a low-range gear to the AWD system, but that's about it. The Compass is at most a "soft-road SUV",

It'll be at least faster than a bathtub, but I can't say it'll handle better.

I was on-board with the BMW 5-series GT, which is similar to the CrossTour. The X6 is like that Acura whatever-DX.

You can still buy them new — Lexus only recently announced they were ceasing production.

The leading article states that these are the worst cars for sale in the USA. Plus we didn't get the same Smart ForTwo that you guys get.

What jmilone said — production ceased July 2011, but you can still buy them brand-new. Kind of hilarious.

The Jeep Compass rides on the FWD Caliber platform.

Yeah...to be fair, though, I think Honda targeted a niche market. But that may or may not be a result of back-pedaling overly-optimistic sales predictions (like the Volt).

I could be wrong, but I think the general consensus is that the CR-Z is not selling very well — something in the neighborhood of a few hundred per month.

Probably thought it best to claim insanity over any charges she knew she'd receive.
