I thought Merc was going to completely screw this up, but this car is perfectly acceptable to me...as long as it's RWD.

2 quick points-
Does anybody remember Porsche Challenge for PlayStation? It certainly was a great game, despite a lineup that was made up of just one car — the Boxter S.

It can always be re-bodied if needed. This Corvette is nowhere near maimed.
I absolutely hate any car body sitting more than a few inches off the ground — they all just either scream Clarence from West Virginia, or Leroy from Hotlanta. For me, there is no in-between. There are so many applications that LS2 could have not been wasted on that draw more crowds of bathed people than PBR-guzzlers.…
Actually from an engineering standpoint, it's probably to keep the charging circuit (the charger does have a dedicated IC) turned off until it's needed. More complicated — yes — but every little bit helps with battery preservation.
Unmolested S-chassis are becoming an endangered species at an accelerated rate. Makes me sad in the pants :'(
Legions of bros are fist-pumping in anticipation!
I feel like the author is just trolling to be honest.
0.37 results in a comatose-like state, and it's not uncommon to be lethal. I know this due to a class that I had to involuntarily take. -_-
This won't work for the iPhone 4 and above (including iPad/iPod of the same gen). DATA+ and DATA- require 2.5V and 2.8V respectively, which requires the use of a voltage divider between +5V and GND. The divider can be built with a total of 3 resistors — 2x 39K and 1x 22K ought to get you there.
Why not just install Google car cameras on the roof of everything while we're at it? Seems like the only logical progression from here.
Makes me ashamed to be from not too far from here, directly east on the coast. Also somewhat ashamed that I have an uncle with a Dodge Ram van 4x4 just like that. He uses it to pull his air boat.
I guess "wake-up call" was the wrong expression. Now that I think about it, it's more like anybody can create attractive body lines and stuff electronics in their cars, but it's the driving characteristics that make a BMW a BMW. I guess what I'm saying is that I hope they return to their emphasis on driving, rather…
Maybe this will be a wake-up call to BMW, who seems to be more than content with just changing the angle of the kidney grilles and upgrading iDrive from year to year.
The guy who posted this vid is going to get sued by so many different movie studios...
What, do you think these are stock cars?
I disagree, actually. My favorite episodes are when Clarkson makes fun, reviews, or challenges more common cars. The supercar episodes are pretty formulaic: driving fast car + empty track + "wooohooooo" + "the ride is just absolutely brilliant/punishing/rubbish".
I hate houndstooth patterns with a passion >:(
