Jaime Lannister is a good one. It’s just so abrupt.

When you do the lead-in quests, you were shown a notice board.  Clicking on that board shows you the progress toward the next crafting FATE and when it comes close to the time for it to start, a timer will appear on the board.

Bloodstained was crashing on PS4 for me for a while. I think it was when I read one of those stone tablet things that gives you info or abilities or whatever. But not every time. It was unpredictable enough that I didn’t notice the trend, at first. It was super annoying.

Something random I already own. I sit and wait for Pokemon to drop next week in a zen like state, avoiding spoilers and opinions and reviews like a master

Aside from grinding the last few Wind and Shadow Orbs I need in Dragalia Lost, I’ll probably be playing Batman: Telltale, which finally went on sale on the Switch a while back.

Sakurai made a big giant list of SNK songs he wanted to use, expecting he'd only get to use about 10-12, but then SNK basically said "OK! Use all of them!"

Speaking of the music, this keeps reminding me that Cloud only managed to add TWO fucking tracks to the game. What the HELL Square-Enix?

Nier: Automata is on my list of games to play. Bought it for like $15 and it just sits on my shelf taunting me. Hoping to play it between December-February when there’s not a deluge of games smacking me in the face.

Yes. 5 man dungeons are still standard.

Though they don’t add too many after release. I think it was just one after release this last go around. But it is a mega-dungeon - like 8 bosses.

Yeah, 5 mans are the core expansion experiences that tie in to the zones you’re working through more than they used to. Then they release a few special super difficult mini raid 5 mans that require top tier gear to get through.

Meh. Three was my first experience with the franchise and it wasn’t my thing. Cool for the fans, though.

Cue all those gamers who swore to boycott Blizzard for their recent shitty behavior suddenly forgetting all about their boycott.

Yeah I got Spider-Man for 25, God of War for $20, got rdr2 a month after it came out for $35, and sports games get discounted to hell after the holiday season. Got all the last 4 NBA 2K games (not counting 20) for $12 together. PS4 games have a good history of giving good sales at the right time, or completely for

Brian is either a freelancer or one of the lower rungs, since he lives in Japan instead of the US and only really does the overnight posts rather than feature stuff.

I had similar thoughts about Requiem for a Dream. I’ve often referred to it as “the best film I’ve ever not enjoyed watching.”

For what it’s worth, I don’t plan on sticking with the game for any sort of “end game” or “post game” content. I’m sticking around for the main story (I like the characters) and that’s about it, as I have no interest in grinding levels and gathering the gear when I have a backlog calling to me. I realize I’ll miss

The overworld and battle themes are particularly bad on PS4. The midi version just doesn’t do the horn and string sections justice, and you hear those two themes way too often for it to be easily overlooked.

I just beat Shadow and yeah, I think both TR and Rise are better.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
