Omg Persona 5 is sooooo damn long. It’s also has that Jrpg thing where it’s like “oh you thought THAT was the end! Ha think again!”

I’m a one-game guy these days — it’s the only way I can actually finish something. So, for me, it will be Dragon Quest XI on Switch. I’m only 14 hours into it, and it’s finally starting to open up a bit in terms of choice. Still, really simple, but I do love it.

I am fully entrenched in Dragon Quest XI.  It’s not world changing; it feels really safe and it takes no risks.  But it’s fun.

The Paralogues are all pretty good. On my third and final run (Golden Deer) I got one that I somehow missed with Blue Lions that involved Mercedes and a certain villainous figure. It answers a plot question that I wasn’t really addressed in the main campaigns for both the Eagles and Lions.

Dorothea is the best.  In a game full of many top contenders, Dorothea’s conversations with other teammates were always a delight. 

I’ve tried starting the old Chris Rock joke about his neighborhood having Jay-Z, Chris Rock, and random white dentists and lawyers.

No show uses its one “fuck” per season better than Bojack Horseman. Even though it’s on Netflix so could drop as many f-bombs as they wanted, Bojack always uses it to great effect just once a season.
