I think you can start with Yakuza 0. It does a good job of explaining who everyone is. Just know the leveling system is completely different between the games (o uses money for everything, from buying items to leveling your skills while Kiwami uses a normal experience system).

Lots and lots of Yakuza 0. I was bored at first since the first area was pretty much the same as in Yakuza Kiwami but after chapter 2 and the character switch, im having so much fun just running around, doing side quests and beating up mr. shakedown. Ill start moving the story along today. What im really waiting for…

Its one of those things I should have learn on my own. Im pretty sure in High School history class we only learned about Hawaii from the time it first became a US state. They skipped everything before it.

I tried SO: Last Hope and could not get over the creepy 3d anime heads that showed no emotion at all. I also recently bought SO3 on PS4 since I had played that back in the day and that was such a nostalgia buy cause I cant get into it too.

Deff change the controls so that your attack buttons are on the face. It helps so much.

I played the entire game with no UI. Finally turned out on a few weeks ago and had no clue the game gave so much info on the screen. It really clutters it.
