Ugh, the documentary one with Changnesia was horrible compared to the masterpieces that were the first two Documentary episodes. I think misusing the format as badly as they did causes me to hate that episode more than I should.

I'm waiting for a God Cop/Bitch-hunter marathon.

I miss Andy Richter Controls the Universe now

A-

I enjoyed it immensely because you just KNOW that the dance turned into a riot right after that point.

At first I was going to give it a B+ but I think that we tend to put this show on a pedestal and really differentiate far too much between an "A" episode and "B", etc.

I'm now waiting for someone to scream "EVERYONE" now

Interesting. I don't agree with most of what you said, but it makes sense. The Knock Knock part is indeed great for the reasons you name as well.

Patrick, does this fit into your top twenty? Top Ten?

Nope, not yet.

Was glad I kept reading comments after posting this, as the love for this episode far outweighed the hate overall.

Agreed, but I think that season 4 is not the main reason, but the move to 13 episodes from 22 is the likely culprit. When you have less time to work with, you need to compact everything and put it together in a more concise manner, trimming the fat and the weird, experimental nonsense that season 3 had at times (I

A+. At first I agreed with the A-, then thought about it more and how much it affected me and changed it to an A, and now that I finally have time to go through the entirety of this thread, past a bunch of the hatred and back to the love, I give it an A+.

This episode is fantastic. I know a lot of people who've either given up on the show or said that it's lost a step, but those people are crazy and overthinking it. If you don't feel the same way you used to about it, that's cool, but a lot of the critiques I've read about this season easily apply to the other,

Just re-read this review after almost a year's distance and I gotta say, I still agree. This episode was putrid, and one of the few episodes of Community I couldn't watch more than twice. I toughed it out the first time and then watched it again a bit later to make sure that I wasn't being too harsh, and it's just a

I think the reason season 1's was weaker was because they kept adding episodes after the initial first season order, so likely weren't sure where to go with it. That said, I still enjoyed it quite a bit and it's better than the first quarter of that season.

That last paragraph made me think that you didn't actually watch the finales of the first three seasons. Season four's finale was really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really shitty.
