Yeah, I’m sure that’s part of it. Controllers didn’t use to be $70+ each so it wasn’t a huge deal to just get a new controller if needed.

This was the most giddy I’ve been watching footage for an upcoming Mario game since they first showed off Mario Galaxy.

Thank you. So many people say this like it’s universal and every single library in the entire country does it. That’s not the case. Hell, my local library didn’t even start having DVDs until like 10 years after that started to become a thing.
