Yeah, definitely no longer applies. :( I remember when I could order Sega Saturn games from Capcom directly (amongst other things). I would have to request a fax, they would send me the list of games, and then I would submit my order via fax with my payment info. I managed to get some nice Saturn games for $10.00…

This was about 8 years ago so it might no longer apply, but you can also just call Nintendo and get brand new snes controllers. I think it cost me less then $40 for 2 controllers. I'd prefer that personally as part of the fun is the cords and sitting on the floor like I used to.
