Cool, I’ll check that out. Thanks!

It started with Bricken declaring that Iron Fist WOULD suck because Danny Rand was cast as a white guy, not an Asian (even though he’s white in the comics). This was before the show even came out, and once it did, this site doubled down on the racially-motivated hatred of the character and hasn’t let up since.
I was going to sarcastically offer that the show is probably terrible because Iron Fist is a white guy, but it appears that other commenters have beaten me to the punch, albeit without the sarcasm.
Johnny Depp is gonna look really weird as an elephant (or a mouse?).
I have this modem. I think I paid like $55, but it’s worth it. Very fast, very reliable, and if you’re stuck with cable service, like me, it pays for itself very quickly. I’ve had it over a year and never had to reboot it, unlike Comcast’s crappy rental modems.

I’m offended that you mention that Yondu’s crew was full of space oddities and fail to mention the oddest of the bunch, Halfnut (aka Jimmy Urine).
Exactly. The issue isn’t the goofy (Yet logical and efficient) language that the AI’s came up with, it’s the emergent behavior itself. What ELSE can they come up with? That’s what’s concerning to me.
What everyone else said. From the moment it was revealed that Danny Rand was going to be a white guy, not a SINGLE good thing has been written about the show on this site. You can pretty much expect them to bash the character and/or actor in every article involving a Netflix Marvel show.
New York is and will always be the self-declared arbiter of everything that is great.
I know absolutely *nothing* about it and I’m gonna go ahead and say “Of course it does”.
“We have too many hits” doesn’t compute. I’ve always been under the impression that studios/channels WANT hits. Isn’t the whole POINT of producing shows to keep viewers coming back?!
It’s not an opinion piece. It’s a news piece. If you don’t like the subject that the article pertains to, why bother reading the article in the first place? Further, butting in to a bunch of people chatting about a subject that you don’t like solely to point OUT your dislike is not only rude, it’s utterly…
I understand. People DO express their opinions in their comments. What I don’t get is why people who hate something (RPO, in this case) feel compelled to post their opinions on articles like this one. In other words, articles which are likely to be of interest only to people who DO like the “something” in question.
Man, every RPO article brings the haters out of the woodwork. Yes, we get it. You read it and you’re SO cool for not liking something that’s loved by so many. Why do you keep posting comments about it when you hate it so much? Why read an article about it?!
I don’t get the hate that this movie seems to engender. In the nascent days of mass adoption of the internet, the viral marketing was brilliant. While the movie itself may not have entirely lived up to the expectations set by the hype, it was a fun and original take on the horror genre. I have nothing but respect…
I just want them to follow through on that rumor from this season and get Matt Ryan as Constantine on the show. He’d be a great foil for Ray!
April 18th, new Bobiverse!
Night Shift, by far. There’s some good stuff in Skeleton Crew (The Mist is obviously great, and I think The Jaunt is seriously underrated), but Night Shift is FULL of great stuff. The Mangler, The Boogeyman, Gray Matter, Trucks, Quitters Inc... All classic King stories. For my money, it’s his best collection, and…
When the majority of critical opinions that I’ve read can’t seem to avoid mentioning race as an issue with the show, I know that I can pretty safely tune them out. Even this article can’t help but mention race as a factor in the quality of the show. Oh, I know, it wasn’t DIRECTLY mentioned, but when you commend Luke…
It’s just childish hope. My girlfriend’s son swears he saw the ‘X’ move right before the title card.
