Pretty much, it’s like when a smaller, weaker person tries to pick a fight with you, there’s no winning on either outcome. You either, a) get your ass beat by a weaker opponent, b) or win, and 1) either get no credit for beating someone you were supposed to beat, or even worse 2) get shamed for beating up someone

I don’t think Jake Paul takes Jake Paul that seriously, nor does he care that no one takes him seriously, as he is still raking in money, so why should he “pick a lane.” I think the guy is a piece of crap, but just because your salty ass wants him to pick a lane, doesn’t mean he has to make a decision.

Not sure. I think people watch hoping to see his ass get knocked out? How many people watched McGregor/Mayweather and Paul/Mayweather? People love a good train wreck.

Eh, Woodley is just trying to cover his ass for the fact he got knocked the fuck out.  Best way to attempt to get respect back for an L is to state how good your opponent is, regardless of the truth.

1) It would be hilarious if every defendant from now on in her court claimed that they were “on a sedative” at the time of the crime, and therefore be excused from the crime.

Yup, this article would just as well be suited for 1970.

Yeah, I don't get the whole "punishing bad cops will lower morale." As an engineer who is licensed in over a dozen states, I have to meet certain ethical standards.  I WANT unethical engineers to be caught, fined, and punished.  Bad eggs make everyone look bad.  I don't understand why police unions blindly defend bad

This...is...brilliant

I work for an engineering and building consulting firm that does all of its work for insurance companies. It seems like our company and all the companies we interact with rehire people all the time. People switch to competitors, our clients (Insurance companies or independent adjusters), or the people we’re arguing

I think it should be pointed out that both Ben Simmons and Shams Charania are both represented by United Talent Agency/Klutch Sports, which is run by Rich Paul. So anything Shams writes is basically a borderline press release for Ben Simmons, Rich Paul, and Klutch Sports.

You better believe accepting those funeral funds requires signing some sort of “no litigation” clause. $15,000 for a funeral is nothing compared to a several million dollar wrongful death settlement. For fucks sake, $15,000 wouldn’t even cover lawyer fees to defend against a wrongful death suit. Fuck Travis Scott and

Not trolling here. Can someone explain to me how polygamy=good while polyamory=bad? Besides stigma and baggage from the LDS?

Yeah, but what percentage of movies would you consider “really good films” and were a “top-to-bottom beautiful piece of work.”  Per her, she says 5 out of 45, which is 11%.  I would say that’s a fair estimate for movies overall.  Now, she may be overvaluing her movies, but at the same time she may not be getting

Hmm, a necrotic comedian with narcissistic tendencies fresh off a divorce and rehab rebounds with a serial dater who NEEDS to be in a relationship with a person (preferably as famous as possible) are having difficulties? Who would have thought...

Can someone explain to me how a state could put out a state mandate that supersedes a federal one? Like, shouldn’t the US surpass Texas?  I’m a moron, can someone explain this to me like I’m 9?

Will he be able to survive the evil media onslaught coming his way?”

The problem isn’t that poor people default on car payments, it’s that they never use credit (or sometimes even banks) to begin with. So they never get a credit score to begin with, so they are stuck renting and buying beater cars at high interest rates; which sticks them in a cycle of poverty.

Because they penalize people who don’t typically take out loans or credit cards.

Now playing

I mean, he’s appeared in *numerous* Hooter’s commercials.

Difference is that we KNOW Gruden sent those emails, Desean Watson hasn’t yet been convicted or has been proven to have committed his offenses (I mean, there’s a 99% chance they are true, but still). Any “journalist” with two brain cells can figure that out. He won’t be deposed until 2022.
