A tired cliche meaning he spent a lot of time working in positions below his current rank (it’s often tinged with assumption that you were stuck there too long, had to work very hard, or overcome obstacles). Meaning, he put a ton of time in a being an assistant coach and/or other staff member.
Yeah, not good. Somehow the attempts at being funny made all the actual facts confusing. I watched the segment before getting to the article and Oliver explained it way better. Keep in mind LWT airs at 11 pm and this article was published at 3 am. That’s 3.5 hours (in the middle of the night) to write, proofread, and…
I’d agree, unlike a Podcast that stands on it’s own, Spotify stands as it’s own network. Like you said, bringing a new podcast in brings new ears to your other podcasts. Plus your saving money by splitting marketing, producing, benefits, server, billing, and other overhead costs across dozens of channels.
Not to mention, I listen to several podcasts and it’s always the same advertisers on the podcasts (manscaping, meUndies, bidet (like you said)). If I would ever buy a product, I’d have to choose what discount code to use between the podcasts!
Literally yesterday, I got into one of those “choose your own” cars at Hertz and when I got in, I discovered that the gas was at a quarter tank. Like WTF guys. Normally I go with Enterprise but they were all sold out of cars (and I was trying to reserve 6 days ahead of time). The last three times I tried Enterprise…
If he got the vaccine, he definitely would have said he got the vaccine to take as much blame (fair or unfair) off himself as possible.
Can we just tie all these assholes up, put them on a boat, push it out onto the Hudson river, and light the whole thing on fire, Viking funeral style?
Fuck no. This is the worst idea I’ve ever heard. I have just two questions:
This is what happens when your entire identity and personality is “being very online.” When it gets taken away from you, you have nothing.
I hate Kendrick Perkins so much. How the hell he got a contract at ESPN to get a feature role on First Take is dumbfounding.
I hate Kendrick Perkins so much. He brings nothing intelligible to whatever “All Takes Matter” show he’s on. His (overused) catchphrase “carry on” is dumb, forced, and contrived. He somehow found a way to be obnoxious and brash yet completely boring and unentertaining is beyond me. How the hell he got a contract at…
You’re overall points are correct but I don’t know how much this point is true: “Simmons has the ability to bother KD and Thybulle can hang with Kyrie.” They may be the best players to guard them, but is it still enough? Keep in mind Thybulle is only averaging like 15 minutes per game due to his offensive limitations.…
I’d argue that Mitchell is more of a scorer than a facilitator, and Chris Paul is the opposite. Mitchell is averaging 5.2 assists this year, while Chris Paul lead the league in assists 4 times and averaged over 10 assists per game 6 in six seasons. Mitchell is averaging 23.4 ppg in his career, while Paul never…
If he can eventually heal up between games and preserve his health, the sky is the limit.
Can someone provide some sort of photoshop involving Macron and that inexplicably greenlit drama “The Slap” from NBC?
That Jews are cheap. I’m not saying its true (overall), I’m just saying the stereotype exists and this lady is not helping. I’m making fun of this asshole. Stop being a humorless twat. Lighten up, Francis.
If it can cross the pacific, it has WAY more route options than just to Europe. I’d still eat my shoe if it actually carried commercial passengers one day, for other reasons you mentioned and others, but I don’t think the lack of route options would kill it.
Um, what about Spirit and Frontier?
Especially since Airbus took a huge gamble on the spoke and wheel system with the Airbus 380 and lost, while Boeing gambled on the 787 and the point to point system and won big. They had a huge lead and completely fumbled it on the one yard line.
