If this was something he had just done, and not ten years ago, I’d say he should absolutely be tried, as it would indicate that he is an at-large threat.

Before this criminal trial even began, there were nothing new he’d even allegedly done, his reputation was already in tatters, and society at large had little doubt about his sexual…

Okay...the obvious caveats aside that Bill Cosby is almost certainly guilty of horrible crimes, now EVEN MORE public money is being spent on prosecuting (and, potentially, subsequently jailing) an EIGHTY-YEAR-OLD MAN. There’s a reason that we usually let people out at this age or younger.

I told Iliza, and she feels bad. I don’t know her that well either, but making a generalization in conversation with someone can be pretty easily separated from someone meaning something literally. If I was talking about a certain movie trope I found annoying and finished with “that’s why movies all suck now” anyone…

It’s not a deposition. No one in their right mind would think she said sex=low-hanging fruit, so much as a singular focus on graphic sexual jokes feels to her like female comics trying to fit a certain mold.

Only an Amish runaway who has no conception of standup comedy would think she literally meant “every joke about sex is low-hanging fruit.” This is the famous Jezebel willful misinterpretation at work.
