Well, and I think it makes more sense for Kai to sacrifice himself over Jinora. If Kai's gone it doesn't really impact anything or anyone (well, other than Jinora) but she's the de facto leader of the Airbenders if Tenzin dies.

I mean…I'd hope with Zuko as her father she wouldn't turn out to be bat-shit awful.
