@Chewblaha: my biggest peeve with gamestop employees in my town is that they can't seem to understand multi console ownership.

oh hey, I may not have to "demo" it to decide if I'm gong to purchase it or not.

Now playing

I've been listening to There Are Rules, the new album by the Get Up Kids.

@deanb: this thread makes me lol

@mousearmy: I recently upgraded to a gtx 570 video card, so any more unnecessary upgrades aren't an option for the rest of the year.

@squarebox: yea, so I'm not sending death wishes to my mobo currently :)

@Derangel: oh wow, yea if the cards going to be that close, that's a little too close for comfort. you might be better off selling the 470 and seeing if you can go for a 580. That's about three performance tiers, which is the recommended upgrade situation.

@Zyker: psh, you should see how much is required for a steam install of Dragon Age: Origins ultimate. :o

Well I guess that means I can stop wanting my ancient 780i / Q9400 mobo and cpu to blow up for right now.

@Morgan King: oh hey, you said exactly what I did. kudos.

LIES.

@Derangel: Is your 470 really that bad?

3. definitely.

@Derangel: wow, 480/570 recommended for 3D?

I'm picking it up on 360, but I may end up getting it from Steam if I enjoy it and it ends up on sale later.

but your system from the link has a 950 i7 on a Rampage III, which isn't Sandy Bridge. Why is it on hold?

I don't think its the achievements themselves, but they can be used as a decent indicator.

some of my l4d achievements are a lie. My friends and I expereienced some connection issues, and something happened (people left, tried to rejoin, etc) and I ended up with 3 achievements I shouldn't have gotten.

I still want the game, but Milius, the Coen and Nolan brothers would like to have a word with you about your views on todays screenwriters.
