The Bunny is an American contribution, I think. In France we have chocolate chickens, much more logical. Although the rabbit has started to cross over. :)

@Love Monkey: I've heard a lot about donating eggs putting you at higher risk for cancer, because they shoot you up with a lot of hormones (I think to make you ovulate more at once, but I'm not sure.) Maybe if there are similar procedures involved in certain fertility treatments?
