@baldbeaver: It would be rather hard to clear it, and you'd need a

@optimusprimerib: I believe "your mom" actually does come into play here.

@baldbeaver: Oxygen makes weed burn better :-D

@BazookaJoe: Resurrection! I noticed that too! Did they yoink that song, or are they that old?

@triangleman: Only problem is, most of the peripherals you're hooking up with USB aren't even CLOSE to using its bandwidth potential. You won't see a difference unless you're using something like an SSD drive.

@triangleman: The only problem is that the only thing that requires the bandwidth that Light Peak provides is a monitor. Hard drives rarely even use the bandwidth of USB 2.0 for their read speeds, and there's Gigabit ethernet for fast internet connections. If you need faster than Gigabit ethernet, you're probably an

@A Flock of Smegal's: Seriously... what are you talking about? Light Peak can't be a replacement if it doesn't allow for self-powered devices. Whose brilliant idea is it that we need to find a damn plug socket for every device that we have now? Oh, and it's NOT backward compatible with the 99% of computers out

@unknownsock: Dude, as an IT guy, two things keep me in business: Windows Vista, and the Geek Squad.

@t('-'t): Hipster handjobbing, haha. Know what you mean, but still going to watch it :-/

@Bos'un's Mate: Haha this is true! Unless it's at 45 degrees, in which case it will cut into both your door and your carpet :-P

@unknownsock: No one ever considered XP a step back. It had the stability of 2000 without the atrociously long boot times, and added plenty of multimedia capability for the average user. It's STILL a mainstay in the business world—name one thing that you can run on Windows 7 that won't run on XP, and isn't a game

@unknownsock: No, it's not! It's still the biggest headache I have to deal with on my clients' computers all day long.... pretty much keeps me in business!

@RobotVampire: This reminds me of my vehicle multitasking days... Installing software on my laptop and making a call on speakerphone while texting, and dressing a Jack in the Box salad in my lap, all while speeding in rush hour traffic. I don't do that no moes, though :-P

Sigh... It's all so irrelevant with the shitty cameras we have on Android phones :-/ Camera360 turns out some really nice pictures....until you zoom in.

@Bizdady: The memory thing DOES kinda look like Apple made it....

@Settings: So... you have an HP desktop that you don't like, and you're using this as a paradigm for all "defective" HPs? You even admitted in your comment that it's not broken.

Apple puts out yet another $1200 doorstop. My roommate's $2,500 MacBook Pro needed to have its logic board replaced 3 times in 8 months—I abhor to think what will happen when his AppleCare is up...
