The problem I have with this idea is that our power grid is not designed for this kind of back-feed behavior from small sources on mass scales. I mean, yeah it can be done, but it’s going to take time and money to make it an option. Every house connected to the grid has a step down transformer to get to 110/220 volts.

Coal is literally no one’s “best option.” Read a book, dawg.

I’m in the PNW. This is terrible, but not as terrible as wildfire season will be.

I know we’re saying “DeSantis”, but lets not forget the general GOP support of him as Trump 2.0.

Florida coastal real estate will be uninsurable and worthless soon, followed by more of the state.

A report on the structure from around 2018 already exists. It goes something like this:

I, for one, will not be surprised when Ron DeSantis signs into law the “Don’t Blame Rising Sea Levels On Human Caused Global Climate Change” Act that will put anyone in jail for mentioning this and give immunity to wingnuts who commit crimes against anyone who does.

Now playing

Never thought i’d live through this Twilight Zone episode...

But we had a taste of what might happen. Think about it. When COVID started, meat packing plants shut down and toilet paper was being sold on eBay. Politicians did nothing. When the power grids failed in Texas this past winter and people froze to death, Ted Cruz went to Mexico. There’s not going to be a big wake up

Natures says, “Ya’ll fucked around and now you’re gonna find out.”

“I meant soon Bart!”

It’s at times like this I like to quote Fred Sanford:

It’s times like this that I like to quote Hunter S. Thompson. he was referring to a particular individual, but I will like to us this quote for humanity as a whole...

So, we’re still all fucked. Got it.

Saw the perfect saying this morning:

These guys parking a U-Haul like

Thats load bearing feces

The mouse crap became a structural member.
