I had to replace the original battery pack in my Prius last year. It was 17 years old at the time with nearly 200k miles driven.
Bingo. The small bed is perfect for hauling dive gear while keeping the cabin tidy. You could probably even use the under bed storage as a rinse tub. (Assuming they were smart enough to direct the drain away from anything that could corrode.)
Now that I’m over the shock of this thing finally being real, a few thoughts:

It’s giving lockjaw to angels now.
The second generation Prius can do the same thing with the bonus of running the HVAC at night. There’s even enough room for a small air mattress if you put the back seats down.
Those kids are going to be pissed when they find out dad drove through Disneyland and didn’t even wake them up.
