Rather than having prototype assault rifles, shotguns, auto-pistols and body armor showing up in late 1917 and 1918...they have them from the start.

WW1 wasn’t the “everyone sits in a trench and lobs artillery for 4 years” war that many think it was - there were untold thousands of night raids, sorties and scouting…

........actually, I like the name. I’m sure it’ll inspire a few who’s on first jokes, but at least it has a different title than the original Battlefield, and it works as a nod to WW1...

I mean, there hasn’t actually been a “Battlefield 1" yet and since they’re going back in time it makes sense to a point. Up until Battlefield 0 with the Civil War and then Battlefield -1 with Revolutionary war...

I don’t really see a problem with it. Considering it’s going backwards in the timeline. It’s definetely not the worst title.
