I've been trapped in vaguely similar but not comparable situations like this and the panic rising when there is no way out....it has been pretty proven that the riot cops have been pumped up to shoot and kill everyone in the area.

I know this is terribly insensitive but what about a sperm bank? Is that as expensive as well? That way the child would be biologically from one half of you and you would want to adopt if you could so there is not a problem with raising a non-biological child.
