I don't live in the US either but a fortune of 20 million dollar is hardly "middle class." Maybe I'm wrong though. Any Americans here who can tell us if that is the average high middle class income?

Thank your for the info.
They looked miserable.
Thanks. I mean, in the sense of that I was looking for people who could tell me if they had heard that before since I was confused/enraged by it.
That entire conversation was extremely bizarre especially since she was the one breaking off contact with me telling me repeatedly that I was dumb, ignorant and a racist. Over the entire time we were talking she had said things that were very troubling to me but I chose to ignore them because I wanted to continue the…
They sat silently behind Rodman during this interview and one commented and agreed with Rodman, saying he had " a great point" or something similar. Which was especially bad since Rodman later issued an apology that he had been drunk out of his mind during the interview.

A couple of things:
Two days ago I stood in line in the grocery store behind an obviously homeless man who was scrambling together penny by penny to buy himself just the littlest bit of food and some alcohol to survive the night. Well, it's pretty simple. If your opinions agree with systems of oppressions which have been in place and supported by the dominant forces for hundreds of years - sexism/misogyny/racism/capitalism etc. - you are very sure that your opinions are supportet, if not, they wouldn't be in place, right?
I don't advocate for the kind of non-interactive teaching I saw when I did a student exchange in China - every class being a monotonous teacher-asks-questions-students-answer-in-a-choir thing. But in the Western world classes are usually set up to accomodate the extroverted and super confident students.
Thank you for your post.
There are so many people out there who are simply unable to see perspectives other than their own in those things. "Why, that is easy for me why do you have a problem?" "Oh but that is so much fun" etc. and even if you explain your situation they blame you! I generally have come to dislike people by and large.
