I’m not ashamed to say I’ve spent $200 on the game total, $160 of that on loot boxes. I love the game and love the skins. I’ve been able to get basically every legendary that I wanted in some way or another. First real microtransactions I’ve ever fallen for...but meh some disposable income is nice.

People keep their old phones? I sell them to pay for the next phone.

It’s not just 1000's of years though...it’s forever. You’d learn to cope while people are around, eventually they would die out. Eventually everything would die out and nothing would be left. Then what?

30 hours is more than I have time to put into games lately, but that’s what I’m at on Overwatch and it’s all that I can think about. I’m just going to continue playing that.

Yea, I kind of hate it too. Seems like usually when I get it it wasn’t the play I thought that should have stood out.

The fountain inside the gate at my work is somehow a pokestop. We've had a lot of random visitors recently.

I regularly went over my 15 gig a month (shared with 4 people) while still using wifi quite a bit. Now I’m on an unlimited plan and my phone personally has used 10 gigs and I’m only halfway through the month, and I was on vacation for 10 days of that where I didn’t have great service.

I feel like that is one word that should just never be spelled out in text. It just looks wrong no matter what.

It’s kind of funny that something named 1080 is basically too powerful to run that resolution anymore.

Wait for your Vive. The sensation of actually moving around a virtual space is ridiculous. I would guess that yours will ship any day now, mine arrived like a week after I got charged.

I just got my Vive today and I just took it off...it’s so much fun. I really don’t see how the Rift could be any fun after literally walking around a whole new reality.

No thanks, I already placed my order. This is the most exciting thing to happen to gaming for me since...basically ever, and I’ve gaming since the 90s.

Feel free to wait, but I’m jumping in. I’m sure I’d feel differently if I didn’t have the money for it...but since I do I really want to be a part of this.

Isn’t this kind of assuming that you’re eating whatever food in addition to your daily caloric intake? Like sure it makes sense if I eat a bag of chips after eating my daily 2000 calories or so...but if it says to work out 2 hours because I ate a whole meal...

You don't have to hack it. It's an option to disable it in the DJI app.

How come every Phantom deal has been accompanied by a statement about tax refunds? If you have $1000+ refunds you should consider keeping more of your paycheck. You're giving the government a free loan...

Here’s a tip to anyone about to drop $1400 on a quadcopter. Buy a cheap quad first, like a Syma X5C or Husban X4 and learn on it. You’ll be surprised how much more confident you’ll be and how hard it is to rewire your brain to switch right/left/forward/backwards depending on which direction it faces.

Do you really think that argument holds water in every instance? Try saying that flying over The White House, or Disney World, or Area 51.

I only clicked on this article to see this.

I guess I just don’t see it necessary for my applications. I do wedding videos and I never monitor the audio and it comes out fine. I guess if I was in a big production it would make more sense, but then I’d be using a different camera than this.

I guess I don’t see how it’s super important. I understand that it would be a nice feature, but what do you get actually listening to the audio that glancing at an on screen audio meter couldn’t tell you? It would certainly be easier for me to understand my audio level by looking at the screen.
