According to the linked articles, it’s based on the actual wireless radio signals being sent between the USB dongle and the mouse. One article says 100 meters, one article says 200 meters...and it appears that these tests were done in open areas, without the usual concrete, brick, wallboard, etc that degrades signals…

The Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 run is worth watching too. The run itself is fine...but the cutscenes and story are so gloriously and ridiculously absurd that it’s worth watching just for those.

That was a very nice run to have on in the background - the good thing about Pokemon glitchless runs is that you don’t need to pay 100% attention, so they’re perfect to just have on your second monitor or TV or whatever.
