Whereas the accents in the movie straddled the line between realism and satire (mostly realism), I thought a few of the accents in this show were making fun of the accents in the movie. That is, they were truly over-the-top. Prostitute's accent is exhibit A.

The Simpsons will NEVER look good in 3D because they're a 2D creation. They only look good on TV, nowhere else.

So satisfied to see a classic Cadillac play a pivotal role in the series climax. It's very similar to the car in Goodfellas. Also just a great all-around gangster car.
Not that it matters, but it's fun to indulge in these scenarios.
