Lethal Weapon done as Anime... lol

Holy shit. I’m not like the hugest anime fan around, but these are awesome. By nature, anime can’t really capture a “real” human likeness, so I love how with each character, they go with anime archetype analogues that best get at what that character is like. This is especially case for Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant,

Terminator 2 needed one extra: “I need a vacation”

Anime Leelu is best waifu.

Anime Gary Oldman is best husbando.

Man, I really like a lot of movies with dumb lines in them.

Have you ever seen an anime?

You know, the Blade Runner thing’s actually been done as an anime...

I like how the artist didn’t break anime rules and gave the girl from Jurassic Park a pair of big D size breasts... I’m pretty sure the girl(sorry I don’t remember the name) was 14 or 15

Anime Sarah Connor is best girl.

Pretty sure Anime Ruby Rhod has already overwritten all of my memories of flesh-and-blood Ruby Rhod in my memory, though.

Of these, I would watch Aliens, Fifth Element, and Ghostbusters in anime form. Possibly Blade Runner. Predator would feel slow unless it was done with the detail of a Patlabor/GitS movie.

i like these, their expressions are a fair bit more deadpan than the movies (the ‘get away from her, you bitch’ >:[ in particular) and would feel pretty flat were it not for the subtitles I think - otherwise fun though

“I’m a single mother”

This is fair, but this is also pretty clearly not the sort of situation we’re talking about here. It’s one thing to say ‘hey, are you willing to negotiate on price?’ and it’s quite another to text out of the blue ‘I CAN DO [$2000 less than what you’re asking].

Same. When shopping for a car on Craigslist or any other listing service (used to be the local paper or the giant nickel) I expect that I’ll look at several cars that I’ll end up just walking away from with a polite thank you to the owner.

It’s a private sale, so chances are the price is negotiable with the seller IF you make the effort to view the vehicle and personally meet the seller. Why should any private give up 10-15% from the get-go over simply being contacted? It’s possible to respectfully ask if it’s negotiable or make an offer. Throwing

I’m a single mother"

Nope.

The worst is the sob stories about how they need this specific car, but can only afford 2/3 of the asking. Go find another damn car.

Any buyer that tries to haggle price before looking at the vehicle is a waste of the private sellers time. Doesn’t matter if it’s text, email, or call.
