Hiyyyoooooooooo
Hiyyyoooooooooo
This is some goddamn outstanding work
To be fair, this whole incident escalated due to a few missed periods.
That was pretty overtly hostile for Minnesotans
That whole obit is a Minnesota euphemism for “she was a feckless cunt”.
Emmitt Smith: So that’s why they call it an “oldbitchuary.”
That was pretty overtly hostile for Minnesotans. Typically it would read something like: “Ethel heard that she got pregnant from her brother-in-law and moved to California but don’t you know her kids Gina and Jay didn’t go with her! It’s not our place to judge but something’s not right about that.”
Also abandoned: commas.
Its not Lady Thor its just Thor or Jane Foster.
I have the same issue with the phrase “the clocks go back tonight” or “the clocks go forward”. These phrases have the exact inverse meaning of e.g. “I’ve brought the meeting forward an hour” or “I put the meeting back one hour”.
If you want to go all formal style guide, to make it warmer you turn up your thermostat. Turning down or up your AC is too ambiguous.
THE ONE COMING UP IS ALWAYS “THIS” ONE. THE ONE AFTER THAT IS “NEXT”. IT’S NOT THAT HARD MIKE!
This drives my wife and I nuts because we both use the opposite definitions.
Fuck you Mike!! 3 days from now is this weekend not next weekend!!
Oh, this wasn’t a critique of you! I was just pointing out one of those funny language things that people duel to the death over.
I’ve lost friends over this question, as well as “this (x)day” vs. “next (x)day”
That’s why I clarified that we were turning it up by degrees! ;)
> Instead of turning your AC up a few degrees before going to bed, turn it down.
