“If the person sitting in front of you on a flight reclines their seat all the way back and leaves you with no room, turn on the air con above you to full blast and point it at the top of their head,” u/medievilmusician writes.
IMHO it is not mediocre at all. It’s a perfectly charming movie and good fun. As Zombie movies and TV shows go, I’d much rather rewatch this than World War Z or The Walking Dead.

I totally get trying to take care of your stuff. Lots of people just don’t have any respect for other people’s things.
And by “retirement homes”, you mean underneath malls in Indiana, right?
Get a bag with a good worldwide warranty. For example Rimowa and Samsonite may be more expensive than your average suitcase, but most of their suitcases have 10+ year warranties. I’ve had wheels wear out and handles come off on several heavily used Samsonite suitcases. The company replaced the parts in question…
While I see what you mean, as I see it scuff marks even on carry-on luggage should be expected. They get jostled in overhead bins, and rub against other bags. The point of the suitcase is to protect what is inside. Scuff marks mean it is working as intended.
For one, if you’ve found a cheap itinerary combining flights from different airlines and have no intention of changing your plans, then by all means, book the flights!
Every airliner has “quirks”. However a properly implemented control system will “fail safe”, not act like MCAS.
The aircraft is inherently stable. But not in the entire flight envelope. The MD-90 has similar divergence characteristics at high angles of attack, which is why it has additional control surface on the engine pylons.
Your thesis has repeatedly been refuted by investigators...
There is plenty enough trim authority. However, you must have properly working sensors, feeding computers that can vote out bad data.
The MAX is not inherently unstable. If it was, it would not have been certified.
Modern aircraft are undeniably safer. Properly implemented envelope protection is a game changer. Improperly implemented as with MCAS, it is a massive problem.
The elevator in an airliner is far smaller than the stabiliser. The latter is used for trim. The stabiliser will win every time.
This piece by Mitchell and Webb is somewhat better known, and equally hilarious. The comedic timing is perfect.

As you say, people who are in that profession or hobby can find all the nitpicks.
