Bonus points for Archer reference.

I agree that airports will be quieter, but lack of oxygen isn’t anywhere near to being a problem for aircraft engines unless they start operating at much higher altitudes than today. There’s oxygen in plenty for the engines.

Rabbits also eat their poo to give their digestive system a second crack at the nutrients. Ok so it's not actual poo but it has Ben through their bodies once before

There are jobs like that in the west as well and it depends on how you define when an apprenticeship ends. In aviation it can easily be 10-15 years from first flight to airline captain. And for that matter doctors are hardly at the pinnacle of their profession after ten years.

Certifying WiFi for a new aircraft type is expensive, and the antenna installation involves non-trivial weight and expense. If you’re flying a 100 passenger airliner, not a massive deal. In a single engine turboprop, a big deal.

Caligular. Well done. Definitely the word of the day.

True, but there may be materials limitations. Also at a certain point the extra advantage of a higher aspect ratio becomes small enough that simplicity wins out.

I don’t have a Kangaroo, but I have a barely larger (and much better looking) Intel NUC as an HTPC. It has no issues at all running Emby Theater in full HD.

I wasn’t a huge fan of The Man in the High Castle, but I fail to see how The Man in the High Castle with Robots would be a bad thing. ;)

And more importantly, will it blend?

I think there are elements of both definitions. The fact that science is not essential to the story in Space Opera lends means the characters often come to the fore. The Vorkosigan books are a good example.

Space Opera is where the science fictional setting is incidental to the story. Star Wars is a prime example, since it could just as well be set in a medieval fantasy world.

Parachutes have their uses, but they also have some big limitations in this case:

The Russians launch their rockets over land all the time.

Ethernet. But that just means you put a router in access point mode on that wire and ta-da.

His accent is great, but he talks a mite more than the average Finn. ;)
