Fair point on password rules. However if you use a password manager you only need rememberable passwords for a handful of services. Easy to stick a number and capital in there.

Star Wars is space opera, which could be defined as fantasy in a typical science fiction setting.

Ironically, The Martian has two big inaccuracies, including one that invalidates the entire story. The author was well aware of this however, and I would still count it as very hard sf.
