This is why I detest driving in Northern Italy in winter. Peasoup coupled with Italians at 120km/h is not a good thing.

OS installation and setup used to take time. With XP I was up half the night. Now I'm down to under ninety minutes including all applications I use and updates.
Agreed, and this is how I do it here in HK. You have to find a good shop though. I've found a couple and the builders are friggin' artists. No matter how many times I've done it, I can never route cables as beautifully as they can.
I live for that moment!
Depends on where you live I suppose.
I'm on my second ReadyNAS. Spins and spins for years and years. I've had to replace a couple of hard drives but the system has always given me plenty of warning that a drive was failing. Besides, even if one had failed, they're redundant plus I have backups.
The problem with support communities is that 99% of people will call the family techie anyway. People really surprised when I say I solve most problems by googling them. Ok, so arguably I can parse online troubleshooting posts faster and better than most, but still!

Absolutely brilliant!
Extended swingarms are almost completely pointless.
I know what you mean but I'll still nitpick and say it is legal in plenty of places outside the US. ;)
Don't get me started on the extended swingarms. For the life of me, I don't understand why you would need one unless you are dragracing, and even then it won't be of any advantage unless you are really really good. For street riding there's no way it improves handling.
This kind of BS makes me want to sell my sportbike. I got my bike license "mid-life" and I am a total coward on my 600. I definitely don't push the envelope. I just love the way my bike looks and I have a lot of fun riding it. Seeing this though, I wonder if I should get another kind of bike because many people see a…
