I really wish they would start setting these movies in other cities! New York hasn't been a good city for young artistic types since about 1997. Don't move here people, it is not as advertised!

I think one of the biggest obstacles to good New York relationships is the unreasonably high cost of apartments. The pressure to move in together too soon in tight quarters is intense and often a killer. At least that has been mine, and many friends, experience.

Did you see the Lone Ranger? I thought it was very funny and had some great action sequences. It is one of my favorite super hero movies. Depp was very funny in it. Why did you dislike it?

Because many of our corporations operate to get as much profit as possible regardless of consequences. Often when they knowingly break the law or endanger people operating under the assumption even if they do get caught the profit will outweigh a settlement payout - damage to people's lives be damned.
Don't shed

I camembert it!

Absofuckinglutely!

Cyprus has a cheese like that too, halloumi. Good fried halloumi is a delight.

Grocery shopping here makes me so sad and poor after getting spoiled by Italy.

Yes, i was never that big on fast food. But now that I haven't eaten it in so many years, just walking past a fast food place grosses me out. It smells like shitty quality oil and flour to me. Not appealing.

Yes. Thank you. So true.

Part of it is the size and high profit of fast food corporations makes it more possible to regulate. Many of those other professions you mention have varied employment situations. The idea is, this is an area government can put pressure on and the higher wage will create competition to increase wages in other low

Ichabod's 1770's sensibility commentary on present day was one of the most creative and enjoyable parts of the show. I cannot figure out why they have completely abandoned it. I caught the show tonight for the first time in a while and I just found it kinda dull. Mison's old-timey charm has been completely neutered.

I watched a dumb horror movie called The Fog on tv one day when i was a child. I was unreasonably afraid of foggy days for years after. Bad thing is i grew up in a hill town and it was often foggy. I would sit in front of our sliding glass door curled up in terror of The Fog!

Oops, i must have used a nono word. My comment is awaiting moderation, but i am bored at work now & am pretty sure which word it was, so i am posting again with the bad word disguised, if you get two posts…
So, here i go again…
When Bowie died i had a terrible time reconciling the tributes my former high school

Yes, when he died, i had a terrible time reconciling the tributes my former high school classmates were posting and the shit they gave me back then for being an "art fag" Bowie fan. I am hoping maybe they did grow, change and embrace the different & weren't just posting out their ass. Anyway, i am proud of myself for

Oh man. That would be great! I went to college with Ben, he was awesome. One of my few regrets, he really liked me, we were good friends, went on a few dates, roommates for a while. But i was in love with another guy already, who broke my heart and i got a little too into drugs and kinda had a falling out and lost

You know i rarely deal with Japenese dancers or even customers. I have heard the stories, but little first hand experience. I am more likely to encounter Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese.

Oh that's funny, I didn't know that was a stereotype. If you want to exchange stereotypes, my experience is Hispanic woman are the least vanilla, black and white Americans about in the middle, and Asian or Russians the most vanilla. That's my 2 crumpled dollar bills.

Ya nerdy perverts! The best kind…

Ha. This comment is the most upvotes I've ever received! Glad, but not too surprised, the av club is pro-stripper! I can combine two of my favorite things, pop culture and dancing. Right now indulging in some old X-Files before I grab my heels and bikinis to head out to work.
