But still will look better than a Cybertruck. Bet me.

Top has to be Damien Lewis and Matthew Rhys

Most people suffer from mental illness. This was exploring someone with a severe illness, how he had very little supporting him up, that he could be a somewhat functional member of society as a result, but once the supports(medication, therapy) started to be taken away, him mental state deteriorates. As his mental

That’s bold, entirely because the culture war is top to bottom stupid.

The film is an examination on mental illness from the sides of one dealing with a severe case and from the side of how society and individuals deal with those that have it who need the most help.

Perhaps that’s a fair comparison, but I think it was a lot sharper than your take would imply, but to each their own.

I thought it was an ok script with some damn good performances and cinematography.

How dare you have a moderate and reasonable opinion!

GET HIM!

Joker is a fine movie. It’s fine! It’s not clever or original or anything like that; it’s full of POINTLESS Batman scenes; it’s definitely not a best picture contender but Wacky Phoenix is a very good actingman and I enjoyed watching him do an acting for a

I finally watched the Joker this week and ended up feeling like it’s a weird movie to generate so much praise and hatred. For context I afterwards watched King of Comedy, and it struck me that what Joker misses is some sort of psychological and/or moral clarity about the character we’re watching. Without that it’s

I pair Goodfellas with Heat. First half of movie = it’s fun to be a crook. Second half = it sucks to be a crook.

I would suspect that’d be your opinion.  Late 60s-early 70s was a hot time for Warren.

No no... go on. One box office hit in his list of movies that aren’t gangster/crime films. Got any others?

I’m getting the sense that you just might be reading too much into a throwaway kinja post that in no way resembles a cinema paper.

Alright, we get it. You know way more about film than us and it makes you more cultured or something.

Ok howabout “all the Scorcese films with broad appeal”?

Why is this film different?

I’ve seen a lot of my friends hand wringing over this movie, saying we shouldn’t support it because it might encourage negative acts, and my response has always been “Yeah, but what about every Scorcese film?”
