He only streamed 122 hours in that directory? That can’t be the majority of his time, even if we doubled the number, it wouldn’t be enough to make partner.

What’s the significance of Febuary 22nd?
Depends. If you’re responsible for hardware on an essential system, that could be more reasonable. Then again, we’re talking about people working retail, not someone who’s working in a nuclear silo.
Also, didn’t have it when I swung by. I was able to pick up the heavy sniper rifle, but I didn’t see the trace rifle. It may have been in the drop pool for the engram, so if you already had all the exotics, then Wavesplitter would drop. But, I’m guessing.
Looks like the spyware thing did happen, though. Found a SidAlpha video on YouTube discussing the issue.
The original motifs are just textures applied to the character. I mean, you can see it in that screenshot. Aside from a few attachments, like the shoulder pads, it’s literally painted onto your character. The armor styles added later on, starting with Thieves Guild, actually project off your character. One of the big…
Yeah, the game was primarily first person, but if you drew a melee weapon (including your fists) you’d go into third person. I can’t remember if you could even use the guns in third person or not.
Weirdly, I think I burned out on The Division 2's beta. That said, it was my third time testing the game. I think it is a marked improvement over the first game, but I just can’t stand the idea of playing through the first ten hours again.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Destiny 2's non-random rolls on gear made a lot of sense. I realize they moved away from that with Forsaken, but, that setup meant you didn’t see weapons and armor with nonsense stats.
Still remember a conversation with Rich Lambert (ESO’s creative director) where he said he plays pretty much everything. I’d say Bioware’s team must be playing other things, but then there’s design decisions like this that make me go, “wait, what?”
“Don’t worry guys, Dragon Age 4 is commi-” AAAAGGHHHH!
You wouldn’t see me reply to the correct post. Oops.
Except, of course, ESO wasn’t “contracted out.” It’s a separate in-house dev team with a mix of former Everquest devs and Oblivion developers. If you’ve played TES4, a lot of that is recognizable as you play.
You wouldn’t see that, because, libertarian, in spite of the name, is a right leaning ideology. That it ends up in the same area of the spectrum as fascism and reactionaries, says more about the limitations of reducing political ideologies to a single axis analysis. But, we can thank the French for that, when they…
No, they did the out-of-class reading, and didn’t just stuff their head in the novel, to the exclusion of everything else.
The jingoism is irrelevant, the system that Heinlein is advocating is a Fascist state, governed by individuals who espouse Fascist (and in some cases, Nazi) ideology.
Probably because the book isn’t intended to be read as satirical. Heinlein was actually making those arguments at face value. The society he presented in Starship Troopers was one that meshed very closely with his own politics.
Battlespire is worse, but this is one of those competitions you really don’t want to come out on top of.
Yeah, not really surprising at all. The Pinkerton brand basically exists to be extremely litigious at this point.
You see this defense of companies engaging in trademark defense all the time. The idea you need to protect against dilution of your mark. That’s partially true, but most of the time, this kind of litigation is still rent seeking. Trademark dilution is incredibly rare, because it requires that your trademark has become…
