It was going to be Luis Suarez, but the FA declared he was not black enough.

Conan can typically back it up though.  Cimmerians are known for being a rough bunch, but Conan is a level beyond even that.  If you get into a fight with him, you better have a bow and arrow, and preferably a horse.  Otherwise, it's curtains for you.

See? This is what I'm talking about.

I used to say The Elders of the Internet know who I am, but it turns out it was just the NSA.

Just noticed in this episode that the character of the Shopkeeper and Captain from Sarah Jane was in the background of the crowd scene.

I just saw this episode for the first time.  I was a little surprised River Song did not slip Amy the Time Vortex Manipulator - or maybe she did and she has a second one (they seemed to deliberately show this did not happen).  But whatever.  Amy and Rory see the Doctor again in 2020 during The Hungry Earth.

Good on you Juana. About time someone made a really intelligent comment.  Remember, Grantham spent time abroad as an officer in at least the Boer War, if not others.  He would have been accustomed to turning a blind eye to such shenanigans.

F. Scott Fitzgerald was a prude.  Poor Zelda always had to carry around that pout because the dude was such a puppy he had no idea how to really treat a woman.  She would have better off serving him poison and hanging around with, well, anyone else really.

You want me to turn off my nerd receptors for 43 minutes?  Why do adults watch Doctor Who but to be nerds?

Yeah, except he's back to cowardly and foolish.  He was the Last Roman, a force that could storm a Cyberman fleet, break into the Stormcage prison, and now he's a pouty emo pud who cannot even find out why his wife wants a divorce.

This episode was a train-wreck.  The plot twist was dull and predictable.  The Amy / Rory relationship could have been interesting, but that nonsense about Amy not having children was just that, nonsense.  Plus, they keep reworking the Rory character, brave then cowardly.  Etc.  I hope this does not set the stage for

Now that you mention it, yes.  I suppose that could be a legitimate interpretation of the review.  Frankly, it was a bit too subtle for me.  Excellent catch.

Yeah.  That bothered me for a little more than eight seconds, and then I remembered it was Futurama, so I let it go.

I'm inclined to agree with everything written, except I would go with an A.  There were several jokes that had me laughing, plus the episode was intelligent.
