Finally, a voice of reason.

The above images and video were tall taken in Ferguson, Missouri this week, as protests rock the town in the wake of the shooting of an unarmed teenager. More notable than the protests themselves, however, has been the police response, which as you can see, has been on the heavy-handed side.

Ferguson's dealing with riots. A gas station was torched and multiple other acts of looting and vandalism. If they can't get this under control we are going to be looking at another city having martial law declared. Understandably. It's not like just turning a blind eye to rioters is a good idea. It's just to bad for

"the cop ordered the friends to 'get the fuck on the sidewalk,' but the teenagers said they had almost reached their destination."

America is NOT for black people? yea right, they free housing, section 8, EBT (Food Stamps) Obama phones. free medical and kill each other every day and say nothing is said about that, but whine when a cop shoots one while he was trying to run from a cop,

Give me a break. If it's unjust it's unjust. Not everything is a Black and White thing. Cop on Black crime or White on black crime will always get press, Cops on White or black on White crime simply isn't covered unless its on the back pages of the paper. Lets at least let the facts come out first and if the cop was

I'm a white male in St. Louis and I agree with everything you say, up until, "again marched in nonviolent protest." I hate what happens in our country, but for you to set aside the looting as nonviolent and just, discredits everything else you said. Which was mostly accurate and brilliant.

Am I supposed to feel guilty since I'm white? What can I do to make everything better?

in fairness, that's because he's a terrible President, not because he's black.

Guilty until proven innocent. No investigation necessary. The court of public opinion has spoken.

Still better than Africa!

Great piece, honestly. But Trayvon Martin was not killed by the police.

I find it amazing how many articles there are on how to substitute different things for a steam iron. You can get a decent iron for under $20. Then the board is maybe another $5-10. And it's not like they're on the moon; they sell them everywhere.
