Eh. It’s probably the closest thing to a Star Trek series we’re liable to see for a while.

There was quite a lot of hate for this show early on (advance screenings I assume) ... and I just don’t get it.

It was an alright premiere. Certainly more serious than I was expecting. A slightly more comedic Star Trek is a good description.

One thing I like: the uniforms and ship designs look like what I’d want for a post-TNG Trek spinoff.
