Man you know nobody told me that already, thanks for the info!

This was an interesting season. Almost everybody was so ambitious that they had to throw somebody in the cast (Irene) who actively didn’t want to be there, at all, and left early. I think David was the last time they specifically cast for “angry Black guy” and I think the whole conversation about the kerflule with

Wow, that was a whole lot of unfunny. You can stop now.

We Gen Xers appear to have long since passed our Big-Chill-older-wiser-but-still-hot phase and are now well into our Grand-Canyon-boring phase. I for one am proud to be a part of it!

Hey, that’s exactly what I remember about Dom.

It wasn’t not funny.

I don’t know if it’s his “where am I from?” accent”

I certainly hope for your sake it’s not this one, because yikes.

Is that Dominic? I liked him but the first thing I think of is him passed out drunk on the sandy beaches of Mexico. It also looks to be missing the Republican surfer who thought Bill Clinton was the Anti-Christ.

Huh, that guy who was drunk half the time had the good sense not to show up.

Literally every speaking human has an accent, dipshit. Trumpeting your ignorance of what a particular accent signifies makes you look like a racist scumbag. If that’s not what you’re going for, maybe just Google information like this instead of showing your ass.

South Africa.  He’s from South Africa.

Hm. Didn’t your ED tell you not to engage? Please skee yourself out.

Heather Graham or Rose McGowan?

I know this is women’s business. But, this is straight up embarrassing for Black folks (college graduates, at that) to be upset about a sorority being portrayed on a fictional show.

I’m just going to sit back and watch the Black Greeks fight in the comments.

The alums, current members, whatever that had an issue with the fictional character played by a non-member are maybe holding on to past “glory” a little too hard. AKA as an organization/corporation protecting their trademark? logo? whatever is an obvious and possibly required move by them. Just like the all the

Yes, because what people think most of VP is that she was in a sorority in the previous century, not that she was an accomplished lawyer or Senator before being elected...

Hm. Didn’t your ED tell you not to engage? Please skee yourself out.

This whole thing is embarrassing. It being a black sorority doesn’t make it any less pathetic. I’ve always thought that “Greek life” is dumb, not the idea itself but the way people think that joining what amounts to a social club that you actually pay for once you are selected (right?), should be important to anyone

Real organizations and their real logos are used in fiction all the damn time, and while I am totally ignorant of the history and significance of AKA (or any other “Greek” organization, for that matter), my cult-y bullshit alarm starts ringing when ANYONE protests that their organization’s symbols, colors,
